Suggesting positions for hiring searches

A computer-implemented method, comprising:

• determining an organization that employs a user;
• identifying, based on the organization, suggested roles to hire for, wherein each suggested role includes a title;
• causing presentation, on a display device, of at least some of the suggested roles;
• accessing, based on a selection of one of the at least some of the suggested roles, one or more member profiles of members of an online system;
• extracting one or more attributes from the one or more member profiles;
• generating a search query based on the extracted one or more attributes;
• executing the search query on the member profiles in the online system to return search results;
• and
• causing presentation, on the display device, of at least some of the search results.

A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:

• determining an organization that is associated with a user;
• identifying, based on the organization, suggested roles to hire for, wherein each suggested role includes a title;
• causing presentation, on a display device, of at least some of the suggested roles;
• accessing, based on a selection of one of the at least some of the suggested roles, one or more member profiles of members of an online system;
• extracting one or more attributes from the one or more member profiles;
• generating a search query based on the extracted one or more attributes;
• executing the search query on the member profiles in the online system to return search results;
• and
• causing presentation, on the display device, of at least some of the search results.
