Abstract
A method performed by an appliance includes receiving, from a managing server, information about a data pattern detection routine to detect abnormal data among operation data of the appliance, determining whether the operation data of the appliance matches a normal data pattern defined by the data pattern detection routine, determining the operation data as the abnormal data when the operation data does not match the normal data pattern, and transmitting the abnormal data to the managing server.
Claims30
A method performed by an appliance, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a managing server, information about a data pattern detection routine to detect abnormal data among operation data of the appliance, the data pattern detection routine comprising at least one normal data pattern;
- determining whether the operation data of the appliance substantially matches the at least one normal data pattern defined by the data pattern detection routine;
- determining the operation data as abnormal data based on the determining that the operation data does not substantially match the at least one normal data pattern;
- and
- transmitting the abnormal data to the managing server, the abnormal data indicating a possibility of a failure forthcoming in the appliance.
A method performed by a managing server, the method comprising:
- transmitting, to an appliance, information about a data pattern detection routine to detect abnormal data among operation data of the appliance, the data pattern detection routine comprising at least one normal data pattern;
- receiving, from the appliance, abnormal data that does not substantially match the at least one normal data pattern defined by the data pattern detection routine, the abnormal data indicating a possibility of a failure forthcoming in the appliance;
- receiving historic information of the appliance, the historic information comprising at least one information item among a failure history, a failure repair history, a customer profile, an operation history, and information indicating an installation environment for the appliance;
- generating a customized diagnosis treatment solution configured to address the failure forthcoming in the appliance by reflecting the at least one information item to an existing diagnosis treatment solution which is stored in a memory of the managing server and applicable to treat the failure of the appliance based on the abnormal data;
- and
- transmitting information about the customized diagnosis treatment solution to the appliance.
An apparatus of an appliance, the apparatus comprising:
- an appliance function executing apparatus configured to perform an equipment function of the appliance;
- a communication unit configured to receive, from a managing server, information about a data pattern detection routine to detect abnormal data among an operation data of the appliance function executing apparatus, the data pattern detection routine comprising at least one normal data pattern;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- determine whether the operation data substantially matches the at least one normal data pattern defined by the data pattern detection routine,
- determine the operation data as the abnormal data based on the determining that the operation data does not substantially match the at least one normal data pattern, and
- control the communication unit to transmit the abnormal data to the managing server, in order to analyze the abnormal data and predict a possibility of a failure forthcoming in the appliance.
A managing server comprising:
- a communication unit configured to transmit, to an appliance, information about a data pattern detection routine, to detect abnormal data among operation data of the appliance, the data pattern detection routine comprising at least one normal data pattern, receive, from the appliance, abnormal data that does not substantially match the at least one normal data pattern defined by the data pattern detection routine, and obtain historic information of the appliance, the historic information comprising at least one information item among a failure history, a failure repair history, a customer profile, an operation history, and information indicating an installation environment for the appliance;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- generate a customized diagnosis treatment solution configured to address a failure forthcoming in the appliance by reflecting the at least one information item to an existing diagnosis treatment solution which is stored in a memory and applicable to treat the failure in the appliance based on the abnormal data, and
- control the communication unit to transmit, to the appliance, information about the customized diagnosis treatment solution.
