Abstract
Data to initiate movement of a vehicle is received from a first user. The first user is identified. A determination is made whether to initiate the movement of the vehicle based at least in part on the data and the one or more characteristics of the first user. The movement of the vehicle is initiated.

A computer, comprising a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor such that the computer is programmed to:
- receive input from a first user to initiate movement of a vehicle;
- identify the first user;
- determine, based at least on the input, a permission associated with a role assigned to the first user, and an identification of a first user on a list of authorized users for a current route segment, to initiate movement of the vehicle;
- and
- initiate movement of the vehicle.
