Abstract
A light module includes at least one light source, a light source support, and an optical element suitable for receiving rays emitted by the light source. The optical element includes structure for positioning the optical element in a predefined position on the support and an elastic attachment device for attaching the optical element in the predefined position on the support.
Claims15
A light module comprising:
- at least one light source;
- a light source support;
- an optical element suitable for receiving rays emitted by the light source, the optical element including a panel and a frame extending from the panel;
- and
- a heat conduction member arranged to conduct heat emitted by the light source to a heat sink, the heat conduction member including a base,
- wherein the optical element directly contacts a first face of the base,
- wherein the heat conduction member further comprises at least one gripping finger for positioning the heat conduction member, the at least one gripping finger extending from a second face of the base that is opposite to the first face of the base, and
- wherein the optical element comprises means for positioning said optical element in a predefined position on the light source support and the heat conduction member.

- an optical element suitable for receiving rays emitted by the light source, the optical element including a panel;
- and
- a heat conduction member arranged to conduct heat emitted by the light source to a heat sink, the heat conduction member including a base,
- wherein the optical element comprises means for positioning said optical element in a predefined position on the light source support and the heat conduction member, the means for positioning including two posts that are integral with the panel and extend out from the panel in a perpendicular direction, the two posts are linked at free ends by a segment arranged at a distance from the panel, and
- wherein the two posts directly contact an outer perimeter of the light source support and an outer perimeter of the heat conduction member to position said optical element in the predefined position on the light source support and the heat conduction member.
