Abstract
A pressure zoned spraybar for an augmentor section of a gas turbine engine may comprise a fuel conduit and a pressure valve in fluid communication with the fuel conduit. A fuel nozzle may be downstream of the pressure valve. The pressure valve may be configured to regulate a flow of fluid to the fuel nozzle.
Claims20
A spraybar for an augmentor section of a gas turbine engine, comprising:
- a fuel conduit;
- a first pressure valve in fluid communication with the fuel conduit;
- and
- a first fuel nozzle downstream of the first pressure valve.
1 more element
A gas turbine engine, comprising:
- a turbine;
- an augmentor section aft of the turbine, the augmentor section comprising an augmentor vane;
- and
- a spraybar located proximate an aft end of the augmentor vane, the spraybar comprising:
- a fuel conduit,
- a first pressure valve in fluid communication with the fuel conduit, and
- a first fuel nozzle downstream of the first pressure valve.
4 more elements
An augmentor fuel injection system, comprising:
- a fuel manifold;
- a fuel conduit extending radially from the fuel manifold;
- a first pressure valve in fluid communication with the fuel conduit;
- and
- a first fuel nozzle downstream of the first pressure valve.
