Abstract
Provided herein are protective mold devices for the protection of structural surfaces, equipment, machinery, and users thereof. In particular, mold devices for securing to a structural surface (e.g., wall, divider, door opening frame, etc.) are provided that form a cavity between the structural surface and the mold for impregnation with a filler material.
Claims30
A device comprising a cross-sectional geometry comprising:
- a vertical engagement segment comprising a vertical surface configured to contact a wall at a height above a floor and without contacting the floor;
- an angled segment connected to a top end of the vertical engagement segment;
- a horizontal engagement segment comprising a horizontal surface configured to contact the floor at a distance from the wall and without contacting the wall;
- and
- a central segment connected to a bottom of the angled segment and one end of the horizontal engagement segment;
- wherein, when the vertical surface of the vertical engagement segment is placed in contact with the wall and the horizontal surface of the horizontal engagement segment is placed in contact with the floor, the angled segment extends down from the top end of the vertical segment and away from the wall, and a cavity is formed between the device, the floor, and the wall.
