Abstract
A holder for an electronic device is mounted on a golf cart steering wheel. The holder preferably is rotatable relative to the golf cart steering wheel. The holder may include a weatherproof cover to protect the electronic device from the elements. The holder may also include a lock to releaseably secure the electronic device within the holder.
Claims19
A steering wheel assembly for a golf cart comprising:
- a steering wheel adapted to be mounted in a golf cart, wherein the steering wheel includes a center housing having a cavity therein;
- a case including a recess adapted to receive an electronic device therein, the case including a cover over the recess, wherein the recess and cover form a chamber adapted to retain the electronic device therein;
- and
- means for removably mounting the case within the cavity of the steering wheel center housing.

A steering wheel assembly for a vehicle comprising:
- a steering wheel including a central housing having a cavity therein;
- a holder for an electronic device removably mounted in the central housing cavity, and
- wherein the holder includes an opening for receiving an electronic device therein, the holder including a cover mounted over the opening of the holder, the cover including a transparent window for viewing the electronic device mounted in the holder opening.
