Rubber composition, tire, additive and hydrazide

An additive to be added to a rubber component containing diene-based rubber, the additive containing a compound represented by a formula (I) below:

• (wherein:
• A is a phenyl group or a naphthyl group and has at least two polar groups, which is at least one of the functional group selected from a group consisting of a hydroxyl group, an amino group and a nitro group and at least one of the functional group is the hydroxyl group, and which may be the same or different from each other;
• R1 and R2 are each independently at least one substituent selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, and an aryl group;
• and further, the substituent may include at least one of O, S, and N atoms).

An low heat generation agent to be added to a rubber component, the low heat generation agent containing a compound represented by a formula (I) below:

• (wherein:
• A is a phenyl group or a naphthyl group and has at least two polar groups, which is at least one of the functional group selected from a group consisting of a hydroxyl group, an amino group and a nitro group and at least one of the functional group is the hydroxyl group, and which may be the same or different from each other;
• R1 and R2 are each independently at least one substituent selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, and an aryl group;
• and further, the substituent may include at least one of O, S, and N atoms).
