## Abstract

A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating a mapping restriction, of a plurality of mapping restrictions, of a logical channel to one or more radio resource types of a plurality of radio resource types. A buffer status report is triggered based on uplink data becoming available. An uplink grant indicating radio resources of a radio resource type of the plurality of radio resource types is received. A scheduling request is triggered in response to: the triggering the buffer status report; and the radio resource type not being of at least one first radio resource type, of the plurality of radio resource types, determined based on the plurality of mapping restrictions. The wireless device transmits the scheduling request.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device, configuration parameters indicating a mapping restriction, of a plurality of mapping restrictions, of a logical channel to one or more radio resource types of a plurality of radio resource types;
triggering a buffer status report based on uplink data becoming available;
receiving an uplink grant indicating radio resources of a radio resource type of the plurality of radio resource types;
triggering a scheduling request in response to:
the triggering the buffer status report; and
the radio resource type not being of at least one first radio resource type, of the plurality of radio resource types, determined based on the plurality of mapping restrictions; and
transmitting, by the wireless device, the scheduling request.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein a logical channel scheduling request timer is not running when the scheduling request is triggered.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the mapping restriction indicates that first data of the logical channel can only be transmitted via the one or more radio resource types.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the mapping restriction indicates that:
first data of the logical channel can only be transmitted via the one or more radio resource types; and
the first data of the logical channel is not allowed to be transmitted on one or more second radio resource types of the plurality of resource types.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein a logical channel is identified by a logical channel identifier.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the uplink data becomes available in the logical channel with a highest logical channel priority in a logical channel group.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein a second mapping restriction of the plurality of mapping restriction maps the buffer status report to one or more first radio resource types of the plurality of resource types.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the radio resource type comprises at least one of:
a licensed radio resource type; and
an unlicensed radio resource type.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein a second mapping restriction is configured for the buffer status report.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the buffer status report is a regular buffer status report.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the buffer status report is identified by a logical channel identifier.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein a logical channel scheduling request timer is not running when the scheduling request is triggered.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the mapping restriction indicates that:
first data of the logical channel can only be transmitted via the one or more radio resource types; and
the first data of the logical channel is not allowed to be transmitted on one or more second radio resource types of the plurality of resource types.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)
