## Abstract

A method for transmitting a frame in a wireless LAN system according to the present embodiment comprises: a step of determining whether to transmit a first frame to an AP through an EDCA by comparing a time parameter indicating the time used for transmission of a wireless terminal with a predetermined allowable time; a step of summing up, to the time parameter, a first required time for transmission of the first frame; a step of receiving, from the AP, a trigger frame for multi-user uplink transmission; and a step of performing data processing for a second frame transmitted in response to the trigger frame, wherein a second required time for transmission of the second frame is not summed up to the time parameter.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for transmitting a frame in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the method comprising:
in order to transmit a first frame belonging to a first access category among a plurality of access categories, comparing, by a first wireless device, a first time parameter related to an admitted time that is predetermined for the first access category with a second time parameter related to an amount of time having been used for transmission of frames belonging to the first access category;
based on the comparison result, transmitting, by the first wireless device, the first frame to a second wireless device;
after the transmission of the first frame, updating, by the first wireless device, the second time parameter,
wherein the updated second time parameter corresponds to a sum of the second time parameter and a first required time required for transmitting the first frame; and
when a trigger frame for a multi-user uplink transmission is received from the second wireless device, performing, by the first wireless device, data processing for a second frame that is to be transmitted as a response to the trigger frame,
wherein a second required time required for transmitting the second frame is not added to the updated second time parameter.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1,
wherein, based upon the comparison result, when the second time parameter exceeds the first time parameter, the first frame is not transmitted to the second wireless device, and
wherein, based upon the comparison result, when the second time parameter does not exceed the first time parameter, the first frame is transmitted to the second wireless device.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first wireless device corresponds to a device having acquired a transmission opportunity (TXOP) for a wireless channel based on a contention for the transmission of the first frame.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the second frame is transmitted regardless of whether or not the updated second time parameter exceeds the first time parameter.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein, when an add traffic stream (ADDTS) request frame is transmitted by the first wireless device to the second wireless device for session formation, the admitted time is configured based on a traffic specification (TSPEC) element being included in an ADDTS response frame, the ADDTS response frame being received from the second wireless device as a response to the ADDTS request frame.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first required time corresponds to a sum of a first processing time required for transmitting a sequence included in the first frame, a second processing time required for receiving a first acknowledgement frame for the first frame, and a Short-Inter Frame Spacing (SIFS).

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first required time is added to the second time parameter regardless of whether or not an acknowledgement frame is received from the second wireless device as a response to the transmission of the first frame.

### Claim 8

(canceled)

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the second requested time corresponds to a sum of a third processing time required for transmitting a sequence included in the second frame, a SIFS, and a fourth processing time required for receiving a second acknowledgement frame for the second time.

### Claim 10

A first wireless device using a method for transmitting a frame in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system, the first wireless device comprising:
a radio frequency (RF) unit transceiving radio signals; and
a processor being operatively connected to the RF unit,
wherein the processor is configured:
in order to transmit a first frame belonging to a first access category among a plurality of access categories, to compare a first time parameter related to an admitted time that is predetermined for the first access category with a second time parameter related to an amount of time having been used for transmission of frames belonging to the first access category,
to transmit the first frame to a second wireless device based on the comparison result,
to update the second time parameter after the transmission of the first frame,
wherein the updated second time parameter corresponds to a sum of a second time parameter and a first required time for transmitting the first frame, and
when a trigger frame for a multi-user uplink transmission is received from the second wireless device, to perform data processing for a second frame that is to be transmitted as a response to the trigger frame,
wherein a second required time required for transmitting the second frame is not added to the updated second time parameter.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The first wireless device of claim 10, wherein, based upon the comparison result, when the second time parameter exceeds the first time parameter, the first frame is not transmitted to the second wireless device, and
wherein, based upon the comparison result, when the second time parameter does not exceed the first time parameter, the first frame is transmitted to the second wireless device.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The first wireless device of claim 10, wherein the first wireless device corresponds to a device having acquired a transmission opportunity (TXOP) for a wireless channel based on a contention for the transmission of the first frame.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)
