## Abstract

A motor includes a rotor to rotate about a motor axis, and a stator radially outside of the rotor. The rotor includes a shaft extending along the motor axis, and including a collar portion and a screw portion located along an axial direction on an outer circumferential surface thereof, a rotor core surrounding the shaft from radially outside, a rotor magnet fixed to the rotor core, a pair of plate-shaped end plates on both axial sides of the rotor core, and a nut screwed onto the screw portion. The rotor core and the pair of end plates are held between the collar portion and the nut. Each end plate includes a first surface opposite to an axial end surface of the rotor core, and a second surface facing away from the first surface. The first surface includes a slanting surface that slants toward the rotor core and extends radially outward, and is in contact with the axial end surface of the rotor core.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

a stator radially outside of the rotor; wherein
the rotor includes:
a shaft extending along the motor axis, and including a collar portion and a screw portion located along an axial direction on an outer circumferential surface thereof;
a rotor core surrounding the shaft from radially outside;
a rotor magnet fixed to the rotor core;
a pair of plate-shaped end plates on both axial sides of the rotor core; and
a nut screwed onto the screw portion;
the rotor core and the pair of end plates are held between the collar portion and the nut;
each of the end plates includes a first surface opposite to an axial end surface of the rotor core, and a second surface facing away from the first surface;
the first surface includes a slanting surface that slants toward the rotor core as the slanting surface extends radially outward; and

### Claim 7 (depends on 5)

The motor according to claim 5, wherein
the shaft includes a hollow portion including an inner circumferential surface extending along the axial direction, and communicating holes each extending in a radial direction to bring a space outside of the shaft and the hollow portion into communication with each other, the hollow portion being structured to allow oil to be fed thereinto;
each end plate includes a plate through hole radially inward of the slanting surface and extending in the axial direction, and a first recessed portion in the first surface and extending radially inward from the plate through hole;
the first recessed portion is connected to a corresponding one of the communicating holes at a radially inner end thereof;
the rotor core covers an opening of the first recessed portion;
