## Abstract

The specification relates to a fiber optic cable assembly. The fiber optic cable assembly includes: an outer jacket, the outer jacket being made from polyethylene; a pull material, the pull material being made from aramid and water blocking fibers; a push body, the push body being made from a rigid material so that the fiber optic cable assembly can be pushed without bending; and at least one fiber optic fiber.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A fiber optic cable assembly comprising:
a push body, the push body being made from a rigid material so that the fiber optic cable assembly can be pushed during installation; and
at least one fiber optic fiber.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 1 further comprising:
an outer jacket, the outer jacket being made from polyethylene;
a pull material, the pull material being made from aramid and water blocking fibers.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 2 wherein the push body is at least one rigid wire.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 3 wherein the at least one rigid wire has a diameter of 0.2 to 0.6 mm.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 2 further comprising:
an armor body.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 5 wherein the armor body is steel micro armor.

### Claim 7 (depends on 5)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 5 wherein the pull material is sandwiched between the outer layer and the armor body.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 2 wherein the at least one rigid wire is partially attached to an inside wall of the outer layer.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 1 wherein the at least one fiber optic fiber is a tight buffer fiber.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 1 further comprising:
an outer jacket, the outer jacket being made from polyethylene;
a pull material, the pull material being made from aramid and water blocking fibers,
wherein the push body is a rigid, hollow tube.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 wherein the tube is seamless.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 11 wherein the tube is made from stainless steel.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 12 wherein the tube is made from SUS 304.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 wherein the tube has an outer diameter of 0.8 to 2.2 mm.

### Claim 15 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 wherein the tube has an inner diameter of 0.6 to 1.2 mm.

### Claim 16 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 wherein the tube has thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 mm.

### Claim 17 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 further comprising:
an armor body.

### Claim 18 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 further comprising:
a strengthening material surrounding the at least one fiber optic fiber underneath the push body.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 18 wherein the strengthening material is made from aramid and water blocking fibers.

### Claim 20 (depends on 10)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 10 wherein the pull material is made from aramid and water blocking fibers.

### Claim 21 (depends on 20)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 20 wherein the pull material is sandwiched between the outer layer and the armor body.

### Claim 22 (depends on 17)

The fiber optic cable assembly of claim 17 wherein the armor body is steel tube.
