## Abstract

Valve comprising a valve body having an upstream conduit for the inflow of a fluid and a downstream conduit for the outflow of a fluid, said conduits being substantially aligned along a longitudinal axis (X-X), a rotative ball controlling the fluid passage and having a cavity with axis perpendicular to its rotating axis (Y-Y), a first upstream seat operating in conjunction with said upstream conduit and said rotative ball, a first downstream seat operating in conjunction with said downstream conduit and said rotative ball, a second downstream seat axially arranged between said first downstream seat and said downstream conduit, and an intermediate element axially arranged between said first downstream seat and said second downstream seat and axially moveable between said first downstream seat and said second downstream seat.

## Claims

### Claim 1

Valve (100) comprising:
a valve body (101) having an upstream conduit (110) for the inflow of a fluid and a downstream conduit (120) for the outflow of a fluid, said conduits (110,120) being substantially aligned along a longitudinal axis (X-X),
a rotative ball (10) for controlling the fluid passage and having a cavity (11) with axis perpendicular to its rotating axis (Y-Y),
a first upstream seat (210) operating in conjunction with said upstream conduit (110) and said rotative ball (10),
a first downstream seat (220) operating in conjunction with said downstream conduit (120) and said rotative ball (10),
a second downstream seat (420) axially arranged between said first downstream seat (220) and said downstream conduit (120), and
an intermediate element (320) axially arranged between said first downstream seat (220) and said second downstream seat (420) and axially moveable between said first downstream seat (220) and said second downstream seat (420).

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, comprising no more than three seal lips (51,52,53) positioned at said downstream conduit (120).

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein between said first downstream seat (220) and said intermediate element (320) is arranged just one seal lip (51).

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein between said intermediate element (320) and said second downstream seat (420) is arranged just one seal lip (52).

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein between said second downstream seat (420) and said downstream conduit (120) is arranged just one seal lip (53).

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

Valve (100) according to claim 5, wherein said first seal lip (51) is positioned in a radial position substantially corresponding to the radial position of said third seal lip (53).

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, comprising a gasket (250) at least partially inserted into said first downstream seat (220) and having a thickness substantially corresponding to the thickness of said seal lips (51,52,53).

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

Valve (100) according to claim 7, wherein said gasket (250) is positioned in a radial position substantially corresponding to the radial position of said first seal lip (51) and said third seal lip (53).

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein the intermediate element (320) is partially keyed onto the first downstream seat (220).

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein the second downstream seat (420) is at least partially keyed onto said first seat (220) and onto said intermediate element (320).

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein said intermediate element (320) has a thickness below ⅔ the thickness of said second downstream seat (420).

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, not comprising springs that can be coupled with said first downstream seat (220), said intermediate element (320) and/or said second downstream seat (420).

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

Valve (100) according to claim 1, wherein said first downstream seat (220) is in the SPE configuration.
