The lid has a lip for engaging the bucket, and an opening configured to receive a hand of a user for removing the bucket contents. The opening may be selectively covered by a door that is attached to the lid. The door is movable between a closed position and an opened position. The door is configured to cover the opening of the lid in the closed position and uncover the opening of the lid in the open position. The door also may have a pad that allows the user to be comfortable while sitting. More specifically, the door may be attached to the lid by a hinge, or rotatable about an axis of rotation, to selectively cover and uncover the opening. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A combination seat and bucket lid, comprising: a main body having an opening formed therein; and a door movably attached to the main body, the door having a first pad, the door selectively movable between an opened position and a closed position, the door covering the opening where in the closed position, and the door disposed between the first pad and the main body where the door is in the opened position. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein the door is selectively movably attached to the main body by a hinge. ### Claim 3 (depends on 2) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 2, wherein the hinge is one of a butterfly hinge, a living hinge, and an integral hinge including at least one hinge rod of one of the main body and the door cooperating with at least one indentation of one of the main body and the door. ### Claim 4 (depends on 2) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 2, wherein the main body has a center area with a recess, and the center area is circumscribed by a lip of the main body, and the hinge is affixed to main body at the recess of the main body. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein the first pad is disposed entirely within the opening where the door is in the closed position. ### Claim 6 (depends on 2) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 2, wherein the main body has an edge surrounding the opening, and the door has a rim surrounding the door, and the first pad is spaced apart from the rim of the door, and a gap area of the door is defined by a space between the rim of the door and the first pad. ### Claim 7 (depends on 6) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 6, wherein the rim of the door and the edge of the main body surrounding the opening are each beveled and are configured to cooperate with each other to militate against a movement of the door through the opening where the door is in the closed position. ### Claim 8 (depends on 6) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 6, wherein the door has a first surface area, and the edge of the opening defines a second area, and the first surface area is greater in size than the second area. ### Claim 9 (depends on 8) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 8, wherein a portion of the main body adjacent the edge of the opening abuts the gap area of the door where the door is in the closed position. ### Claim 10 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein a rim surrounds the door and a grip tab extends outwardly from the rim of the door. ### Claim 11 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein the main body has a center area and a peripheral area, and both the center area and the peripheral area are circumscribed by a lip of the main body, the opening formed through the center area, the peripheral area disposed between the center area and the lip, and the peripheral area having at least one second pad. ### Claim 12 (depends on 11) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 11, wherein the second pad is disposed entirely between the opening and the lip of the main body. ### Claim 13 (depends on 11) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 11, wherein the center area of the main body is configured to abut the second side of the door where the door is in the opened position. ### Claim 14 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein the main body has a center area circumscribed by a lip, and the door is disposed entirely within a lip of the lid both where the door is in the open position and where the door is in the closed position. ### Claim 15 (depends on 1) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 1, wherein the door is movably attached to the main body about an axis of rotation that is oriented transverse to a plane on which the main body is disposed. ### Claim 16 (depends on 15) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 15, wherein the axis of rotation is defined by one of a pin, a bolt, a screw, a rivet, and a swivel rotatably attaching the door to the main body of the lid. ### Claim 17 (depends on 15) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 15, wherein the main body has a center area circumscribed by a lip, and the door is disposed entirely within the lip of the main body where the door is in the closed position, and a portion of the door is disposed outside of the lip of the main body where the door is in the opened position. ### Claim 18 (depends on 15) The combination seat and bucket lid of claim 15, wherein the door is disposed between the first pad and the main body where in the closed position. ### Claim 19 A combination seat and bucket lid, comprising: a main body having an opening formed therein; and a door movably attached to the main body with a hinge, the door having a first side and a second side with a first pad disposed on the first side, the door selectively movable between an opened position and a closed position, the door covering the opening and the first pad disposed entirely within the opening where the door is in the closed position, and the second side of the door disposed between the first pad and the main body where the door is in the opened position. ### Claim 20 A combination seat and bucket lid, comprising: a main body having an opening formed therein; and a door movably attached to the main body about an axis of rotation that is transverse to the main body, the door having a first side and a second side with a first pad disposed on the second side, the door selectively movable between an opened position and a closed position, the door covering the opening in the closed position, the first side of the door disposed between the first pad and the main body where the door is in the opened position and in the closed position, and wherein the door is disposed entirely within the lip of the lid where the door is in the closed position, and a portion of the door is disposed outside of the lip where the door is in the opened position.
