Abstract
A tool holder includes a main body, a deformable receptacle for clamping a tool, and at least one blocking element which, in order to prevent axial migration of the tool out of the tool holder, is configured to engage in a corresponding counterpart element on the tool and is arranged at the receptacle. In order to allow particularly high concentricity of the tool holder and stable fastening of the clamped-in tool, and at the same time to ensure easy production, the receptacle has two spaced-apart clamping portions, between which the at least one blocking element is arranged.
Claims21
A tool holder having a main body, a deformable receptacle for clamping of a tool and at least one blocking element designed to prevent axial migration of the tool from the tool holder for engagement in a corresponding counter-element on the tool and arranged on the receptacle, wherein the receptacle has two clamping sections spaced from each, between which the at least one blocking element is arranged.
A method for production of a deformable receptacle for clamping of a tool, which is designed insertable into a main body of a tool holder or in one piece with the tool holder, in which the receptacle has at least one blocking element, which is designed to prevent axial migration of the tool from the receptacle for engagement in a corresponding counter-element on the tool the method comprising producing the receptacle by a material-ablating method from a metallic solid material by generation of a recess, wherein during generation of the recess to form the at least one blocking element formed in one piece with the receptacle, at least one protrusion protruding in the recess is made or a recess is introduced in the receptacle such that the receptacle is divided into two clamping sections, between which the at least one blocking element is arranged.
A method for production of a deformable receptacle for clamping of a tool, which is designed insertable into a main body of a tool holder or in one piece with the tool holder, in which the receptacle has at least one blocking element, which is designed to prevent axial migration of the tool from the receptacle for engagement in a corresponding counter-element on the tool, the method comprising producing the deformable receptacle by an additive method in which, for generation of the at least one blocking element formed in one piece with the receptacle, at least one protrusion protruding in the receptacle is provided so that the receptacle is divided into two clamping sections, between which the at least one blocking element is arranged.
