## Abstract

A scrubbing wipe includes a scrim that includes a plurality of filaments, and a formed film attached to the scrim. The formed film encompasses at least 50% of the circumferences of at least a portion of the plurality of filaments and includes a plurality of apertured extended cells extending away from the scrim.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A scrubbing wipe comprising:
a scrim comprising a plurality of filaments; and
a formed film attached to the scrim, the formed film encompassing at least 50% of the circumferences of at least a portion of the plurality of filaments and comprising a plurality of apertured extended cells extending away from the scrim.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the formed film encompasses at least 50% of the circumferences of substantially all of the plurality of filaments.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein sidewalls of the apertured extended cells form scrubbing pockets with the filaments of the scrim.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 3, wherein at least some of the sidewalls of the apertured extended cells extend in a direction normal to a plane containing the scrim, and wherein at least some of the sidewalls of the apertured extended cells extend in a direction angled relative to normal to the plane containing the scrim.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the scrim has a basis weight in the range of 60-65 grams per square meter.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of filaments of the scrim comprise polypropylene.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of filaments has a diameter in the range of 430-560 micrometers.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein adjacent filaments are substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart by a distance in the range of 2.8-3.3 millimeters.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the formed film has a basis weight in the range of 35-40 grams per square meter.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the formed film comprises polyethylene.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 10, wherein the formed film comprises a blend of low density polyethylene and high density polyethylene.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 10, wherein the formed film further comprises a surfactant.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The scrubbing wipe according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of apertured extended cells are arranged in a pattern of 4-6 apertured extended cells per linear centimeter.

### Claim 14

A method for manufacturing a scrubbing wipe, the method comprising:
feeding a scrim comprising a plurality of filaments onto a forming structure comprising a plurality of apertures;
extruding a polymer web onto the scrim as the scrim passes over the forming structure; and
applying a vacuum through the forming structure to pull portions of the polymer web through openings in the scrim and into the apertures of the forming structure to form the scrubbing wipe comprising the scrim and a formed film attached to the scrim, the formed film encompassing at least 50% of the circumferences of at least a portion of the plurality of filaments and comprising a plurality of apertured extended cells extending away from the scrim.

### Claim 15 (depends on 15)

The method according to claim 15, wherein the formed film encompasses at least 50% of the circumferences of substantially all of the plurality of filaments.

### Claim 16 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein sidewalls of the apertured extended cells form scrubbing pockets with the filaments of the scrim.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The method according to claim 16, wherein at least some of the sidewalls of the apertured extended cells extend in a direction normal to a plane containing the scrim, and wherein at least some of the sidewalls of the apertured extended cells extend in a direction angled relative to normal to the plane containing the scrim

### Claim 18 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein the scrim has a basis weight in the range of 60-65 grams per square meter.

### Claim 19 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein the plurality of filaments of the scrim comprise polypropylene.

### Claim 20 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein each of the plurality of filaments has a diameter in the range of 430-560 micrometers.

### Claim 21 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein adjacent filaments are substantially parallel to each other and spaced apart by a distance in the range of 2.8-3.3 millimeters.

### Claim 22 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein the formed film has a basis weight in the range of 35-40 grams per square meter.

### Claim 23 (depends on 14)

The method according to claim 14, wherein the formed film comprises polyethylene.

### Claim 24 (depends on 23)
