## Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pharmaceutical combination composition and drug combinations for the prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemic conditions such as atherosclerosis, hypercholesterolemia, low HDL blood disease in mammals including humans. A pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, etc. which comprises (a) a compound represented by the general formula (1) (in the formula, each symbol is the same as defined in the specification) or a salt thereof or a solvate thereof and (b) a cholesterol absorption inhibitor.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating dyslipidemia in a human patient in need thereof comprising administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amounts of (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and ezetimibe.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein said (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and said ezetimibe are administered to the human patient separately at intervals.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from dyslipidemia.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from metabolic syndrome.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from diabetes.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from hypo-HDL cholesterolemia.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from hypertriglyceridemia.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The method according to claim 2, wherein said patient is suffering from an elevated total triglyceride level and a low HDL cholesterol level.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein an amount ratio of (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to ezetimibe is 1:200 to 3:1.

### Claim 10

A method of increasing HDL-C in a human patient in need thereof comprising administering to said patient therapeutically effective amounts of (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and ezetimibe.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method according to claim 10, wherein said (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and said ezetimibe are administered to the human patient separately at intervals.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein an amount ratio of (R)-2-[3-[[N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl]aminomethyl]phenoxy]butyric acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to ezetimibe is 1:200 to 3:1.
