Method and Device for Determining Redress Measures for TV Service Outages Based on Impact Analysis

A node in a service provider network comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a non-transitory memory;
• and
• one or more programs stored in the non-transitory memory, which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the node to:
• identify one or more subscribers of the service provider network that are impacted by a television (TV) service outage for service offered by the service provider network via a TV system having a TV user interface (UI), wherein each of the one or more subscribers is identified based at least in part on detecting an anomaly between predetermined TV UI usage behavior data and detected subscriber TV UI usage behavior data;
• determine an impact score for each of the one or more subscribers;
• determine a redress measure for each of the one or more subscribers based on corresponding impact scores;
• and
• send the redress measure to the one or more subscribers of the service provider network.

A non-transitory memory storing one or more programs, which, when executed by one or more processors of a node in a service provider network, cause the node to:

• identify one or more subscribers of the service provider network that are impacted by a television (TV) service outage for service offered by the service provider network via a TV system having a TV user interface (UI), wherein each of the one or more subscribers is identified based at least in part on detecting an anomaly between predetermined TV UI usage behavior data and detected subscriber TV UI usage behavior data;
• determine an impact score for each of the one or more subscribers;
• determine a redress measure for each of the one or more subscribers based on corresponding impact scores;
• and
• send the redress measure to the one or more subscribers of the service provider network.
