System and method for providing java cloud services for use with a cloud computing environment

A method of providing cloud services in a cloud computing environment, comprising:

• providing, within a cloud computing environment, a cloud service that operates to provide service instances of the cloud computing environment, for deployment of software applications to the service instances;
• operating with the cloud service to configure virtual assemblies in providing the service instances, wherein each personalized virtual assembly and service instance provided thereby includes an administration server and one or a plurality of application server instances;
• and
• in response to an order to create a particular service instance,
• orchestrating provisioning and deployment of the particular service instance, to the cloud computing environment;
• and
• providing an interface associated with the particular service instance as deployed, that enables deployment of one or more software applications to the particular service instance.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, including instructions stored thereon which when read and executed by one or more computers cause the one or more computers to perform a method comprising:

• providing, within a cloud computing environment, a cloud service that operates to provide service instances of the cloud computing environment, for deployment of software applications to the service instances;
• operating with the cloud service to configure virtual assemblies in providing the service instances, wherein each personalized virtual assembly and service instance provided thereby includes an administration server and one or a plurality of application server instances;
• and
• in response to an order to create a particular service instance,
• orchestrating provisioning and deployment of the particular service instance, to the cloud computing environment;
• and
• providing an interface associated with the particular service instance as deployed, that enables deployment of one or more software applications to the particular service instance.
