Abstract
A wireless device may support a plurality of channel state information (CSI) processes. The wireless device may send an indication of a number of supported CSI processes to a first base station. The first base station may send to the wireless device a handover command, instructing the wireless device to handover to a second base station. The handover command may comprise configuration parameters for CSI processes associated with the second base station. The configuration parameters may be based on the number of CSI processes supported by the wireless device.
Claims48
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- transmit, to a first base station, a first message comprising one or more parameters indicating that the wireless device supports configuration of a first quantity of channel state information (CSI) processes per carrier;
- receive, from the first base station, at least one second message comprising first configuration parameters for a second quantity of CSI interference measurement resources for a first carrier, wherein the second quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity;
- and
- receive, from the first base station, a handover command to handover to a second base station, wherein the handover command comprises second configuration parameters for a third quantity of CSI interference measurement resources for a second carrier and associated with the second base station, wherein the third quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity, and
- wherein the second configuration parameters in the handover command are from the second base station and are based on the one or more parameters indicating that the wireless device supports configuration of the first quantity of CSI processes.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- transmit, to a first base station, a first message comprising first configuration parameters for a first quantity of channel state information (CSI) interference measurement resources per carrier, wherein the first quantity is less than or equal to a number of CSI processes supported by the wireless device;
- receive, from the first base station, at least one second message comprising second configuration parameters for a second quantity of CSI interference measurement resources for a first carrier, wherein the second quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity;
- and
- receive, from the first base station, a handover command to handover to a second base station, wherein the handover command comprises third configuration parameters for a third quantity of CSI interference measurement resources for a second carrier and associated with the second base station, wherein the third quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity, and
- wherein the third configuration parameters in the handover command are from the second base station and are based on the first configuration parameters.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- transmit, to a first base station, a first message comprising one or more parameters indicating that the wireless device supports configuration of a first quantity of channel state information (CSI) processes per carrier;
- receive, from the first base station, at least one second message comprising first configuration parameters for a second quantity of CSI reference signals for a first carrier, wherein the second quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity;
- and
- receive, from the first base station, a handover command to handover to a second base station, wherein the handover command comprises second configuration parameters for a third quantity of CSI reference signals for a second carrier and associated with the second base station, wherein the third quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity, and
- wherein the second configuration parameters in the handover command are from the second base station and are based on the one or more parameters indicating that the wireless device supports configuration of the first quantity of CSI processes.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- transmit, to a first base station, a first message comprising first configuration parameters for a first quantity of channel state information (CSI) reference signals per carrier, wherein the first quantity is less than or equal to a number of CSI processes supported by the wireless device;
- receive, from the first base station, at least one second message comprising second configuration parameters for a second quantity of CSI reference signals for a first carrier, wherein the second quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity;
- and
- receive, from the first base station, a handover command to handover to a second base station, wherein the handover command comprises third configuration parameters for a third quantity of CSI reference signals for a second carrier and associated with the second base station, wherein the third quantity is less than or equal to the first quantity, and
- wherein the third configuration parameters in the handover command are from the second base station and are based on the first configuration parameters.
