Abstract
A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel having a through hole in a display area including a plurality of pixels. The display panel includes a substrate, and an organic light-emitting diode including a first electrode provided above the substrate for each of the pixels, a second electrode provided over the plurality of pixels, and an organic electroluminescence layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode. The through hole penetrates at least the second electrode, and the second electrode includes an oxidized part exposed at an inner surface of the through hole.
Claims9
A display device comprising:
- a display panel having a through hole in a display area including a plurality of pixels,
- wherein the display panel includes
- a substrate, and
- an organic light-emitting diode including a first electrode provided above the substrate for each of the pixels, a second electrode provided over the plurality of pixels, and an organic electroluminescence layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode,
- the through hole penetrates at least the second electrode, and
- the second electrode includes an oxidized part exposed at an inner surface of the through hole.
A method of manufacturing a display device that includes a display panel having a display area including a plurality of pixels, the method comprising:
- forming an organic light-emitting diode which includes a first electrode provided above a substrate for each of the pixels, a second electrode provided over the plurality of pixels, and an organic electroluminescence layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode;
- providing a through hole which exposes a part of the second electrode, in the display area;
- and
- oxidizing apart of the second electrode exposed at an inner surface of the through hole.
