Abstract
The present invention relates to an electronic device and a control method thereof. The electronic device comprises a microphone for acquiring sound; and a control unit for determining whether the acquired sound is a learned sound and outputting information on the acquired sound on the basis of a determination result.

A method of an electronic device that includes a microphone, the method comprising:
- obtaining, via the microphone, a sound;
- determining whether the obtained sound is a learned sound, wherein the learned sound is a sound that includes stored information regarding the obtained sound;
- and
- outputting information regarding the obtained sound when the obtained sound is determined to be the learned sound.

An electronic device, comprising:
- a microphone configured to obtain a sound;
- and
- a controller configured to determine whether the obtained sound is a learned sound that includes stored information regarding the obtained sound, and to output information regarding the obtained sound when the obtained sound is determined to be the learned sound.
A method of an electronic device, the method comprising:
- receiving a sound at the electronic device;
- determining, based on the received sound, that the electronic device includes stored information regarding the received sound;
- and
- outputting the stored information regarding the received sound when the electronic device is determined to include the stored information regarding the received sound.
