System and method for determining the quality of concrete from construction site images

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing data and computer implementable instructions for carrying out a method for determining the quality of concrete from construction site images, the method comprising:

• obtaining image data captured from a construction site using at least one image sensor;
• analyzing the image data to identify a region of the image data depicting at least part of an object, wherein the object is of an object type and made, at least partly, of concrete;
• analyzing the image data to determine a quality indication associated with the concrete;
• using the object type of the object to select a threshold;
• comparing the quality indication with the selected threshold;
• and
• based on a result of the comparison of the quality indication with the selected threshold, providing an indication to a user.

A system for determining the quality of concrete from construction site images, the system comprising:

• at least one processor configured to:
• obtain image data captured from a construction site using at least one image sensor;
• analyze the image data to identify a region of the image data depicting at least part of an object, wherein the object is of an object type and made, at least partly, of concrete;
• analyze the image data to determine a quality indication associated with the concrete;
• use the object type of the object to select a threshold;
• compare the quality indication with the selected threshold;
• and
• based on a result of the comparison of the quality indication with the selected threshold, provide an indication to a user.
