Abstract
An Indoor location mapping and wayfinding system for mapping waypoints on an interactive mapping system that can function both indoors and outdoors based on user selections and location. It can include a shopping system that allows users to pre-select items for purchase, maps the items on an indoor map of the store, and provides a route to the user for the collection of the selected items.

A clerkless checkout system comprising:
- an application configured to run on a wireless device, wherein said application is further configured to display a user interface to a user of said wireless device;
- a structure map database containing a structure map of at least one identified structure;
- an item database containing item information including physical characteristics and item locations within said structure maps;
- an item selection interface configured to allow said user to select an item from said item information database using said user interface;
- a route tracking system comprising said wireless device and a plurality of wireless transceivers connected to a network, wherein said route tracking system is configured to track said wireless device's location;
- a route planning system configured to generate a route including a starting location, at least one item location corresponding to one or more items selected by said user via said user interface of said application.
