Abstract
An image display apparatus for automatically determining an image in a video having a best picture of an object selected by a user.
Claims20
An image display apparatus comprising:
- a display;
- a memory storing instructions;
- and
- a processor configured to execute the instructions stored in the memory, which when executed the processor:
- controls the display to output video content;
- receives a user input for selecting a frame from among a plurality of frames constituting the video content, the frame comprising an object;
- determines a plurality of candidate frames including a corresponding object that corresponds to the object in the frame;
- determines a recommended frame from the plurality of candidate frames, based on at least one of a learning model using one or more neural networks and attribute information of areas showing the corresponding object in the plurality of candidate frames;
- and
- outputs the recommended frame for the object.

A method of operating an image display apparatus, the method comprising:
- outputting video content;
- receiving a user input for selecting a frame from among a plurality of frames constituting the video content, the frame comprising an object;
- determining a plurality of candidate frames including a corresponding object that corresponds to the object in the frame;
- determining a recommended frame from the plurality of frames, based on at least one of a learning model using one or more neural networks and attribute information of areas showing the corresponding object in the plurality of candidate frames;
- and
- outputting the recommended frame.
