A vehicle control method using an in-vehicle computer, the vehicle control method comprising:

• executing driving support of automatically executing at least a part of speed control or steering control of a subject vehicle on the basis of a state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle detected by a detection unit that detects the state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle;
• extracting environment information causing a change in continuation of control in the driving support from information of the state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle detected by the detection unit;
• and
• transmitting the extracted environment information to an external device.

A program causing an in-vehicle computer to execute:

• performing driving support of automatically executing at least a part of speed control or steering control of a subject vehicle on the basis of a state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle detected by a detection unit that detects the state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle;
• extracting environment information causing a change in continuation of control in the driving support from information of the state of the surroundings of the subject vehicle detected by the detection unit;
• and
• transmitting the extracted environment information to an external device.
