Abstract
Various embodiments are directed to an optical filter. The optical filter may include a plurality of regions. The plurality of regions may include a first region transmissive of light within a first wavelength range and a second region transmissive of light within a second wavelength range.
Claims35
A device, comprising:
- an optical transmitter configured to transmit a source light;
- an optical receiver configured to receive a reflection of the source light;
- and
- an infrared or near infrared bandpass filter disposed in front of a photodetector of the optical receiver such that the received source light is received at the bandpass filter prior to the photodetector receiving the source light, the bandpass filter including a plurality of regions including:
- a first region transmissive of light within a first wavelength range;
- and
- a second region transmissive of light within a second wavelength range.
