Abstract
An augmented imaging system for displaying a target position (PTAR) of a vehicle can include a processor configured to determine the target position (PTAR) for the vehicle. Image data can be received from one or more image sensors, the image data comprising an image including the target position (PTAR). A target position indicator can be generated representing the target position (PTAR). The target position indicator can be overlaid onto the image to generate an augmented image representing the target position (PTAR) of the vehicle.

An augmented imaging system for displaying a target position of a vehicle, the augmented imaging system comprising a processor configured to:
- determine a target position for the vehicle;
- receive image data from one or more image sensors, the image data comprising an image including the target position;
- generate a target position indicator for representing the target position;
- and
- overlay the target position indicator onto the image to generate an augmented image representing the target position of the vehicle.
A method of generating an augmented image for displaying a target position of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- determining a target position of the vehicle;
- receiving image data comprising an image including the target position;
- generating a target position indicator for representing the target position;
- and
- overlaying the target position indicator onto the image to generate an augmented image representing the target position of the vehicle.
