Abstract
A stopper apparatus for a tailgate of a vehicle includes a latch mechanism mounted on the tailgate of the vehicle, one or more first stopper members secured to the latch mechanism, a striker attached to a vehicle body structure, and a second stopper member disposed around the striker. The second stopper member receives part of the latch mechanism and the first stopper members to constrain the latch mechanism and the first stopper members.

A stopper apparatus for a tailgate of a vehicle, the stopper apparatus comprising:
- a latch mechanism mounted on the tailgate of the vehicle;
- one or more first stopper members secured to the latch mechanism;
- a striker attached to a vehicle body structure;
- and
- a second stopper member disposed around the striker,
- wherein the second stopper member is configured to receive a part of the latch mechanism and the first stopper members to constrain the latch mechanism and the first stopper members.
