Abstract
The invention relates to a device for decelerating the movement of a wear device, in particular of a motor vehicle, having a catch strap for limiting the movement of the wear device, having at least one brake lever, which is mounted about a deflection axis such that the brake lever can be deflected, and which has an actuating section and a clamping section, which can be deflected in the direction of the catch strap, and a counter bearing which, together with the clamping section, serves to clamp the catch strap.

An apparatus for braking the movement of a closing device, the apparatus comprising
- a catch strap for limiting the movement of the closing device;
- at least one brake lever that is deflectably supported about a deflection axis and that has an actuation section and a clamping section deflectable in the direction towards the catch strap;

- a counter-support that serves together with the clamping section for clamping the catch strap.
