Abstract
A method for producing a polyorganosiloxane resin composition including: (a) mixing a thermally-conductive filler having a particle size distribution having a single peak, with a surface treatment agent containing a siloxane to form a mixture, and (b) mixing the mixture from step (a) with a polysiloxane resin.
Claims6
A method for producing a polyorganosiloxane resin composition, the method comprising:
- a step (a1) of mixing a thermally conductive filler having a particle size distribution having a single peak, and a surface treatment agent containing a siloxane with each other to form a mixture, and
- a step (b) of mixing the mixture of the thermally conductive filler and the surface treatment agent obtained in the step (a1) with a polysiloxane resin,
- wherein the surface treatment agent comprises a siloxane compound represented by the following formula (1):
- wherein:
- R1 is a group having an alkoxysilyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms,
- R2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 6 to 18 carbon atoms or a siloxane represented by the following formula (2):
- wherein each R4 independently is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, Y is a group selected from the group consisting of R1, R4 and an aliphatic unsaturated group, and d is an integer of 2 to 500,
- each X independently is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms,
- a is an integer of 1 or more,
- b is an integer of 1 or more,
- c is an integer of 0 or more,
- a+b+c is an integer of 4 or more, and
- each R3 each independently is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom.
