Abstract
A support film for a tape material is provided that includes a film-shaped support formed of polyurethane, a barrier layer containing an aromatic isocyanate-based polyurethane and a layered inorganic compound and formed on one surface of the support, and an overcoat layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol or an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and an organometallic chelating agent.

A support film for a tape material, comprising:
- a film-shaped support formed of polyurethane;
- a barrier layer containing an aromatic isocyanate-based polyurethane and a layered inorganic compound and formed on one surface of the support;
- and
- an overcoat layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol or an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and an organometallic chelating agent.

A method for producing a support film for a tape material, comprising:
- preparing a film-shaped support formed of polyurethane;
- forming a barrier layer containing an aromatic isocyanate-based polyurethane and a layered inorganic compound on one surface of the support;
- and
- forming an overcoat layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and an organometallic chelating agent.
