A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cartilage diseases, the pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- at least one selected from the group consisting of an integrin beta-like 1 (ITGBL1) protein, ITGBL1 DNA or RNA encoding the ITGBL1 protein, a recombinant vector comprising the ITGBL1 DNA sequences, and recombinant cells transformed with the recombinant vector.
An inhibitor of integrin activation comprising, as an active ingredient, at least one selected from the group consisting of an integrin beta-like 1 (ITGBL1) protein, ITGBL1 DNA or RNA encoding the ITGBL1 protein, a recombinant vector comprising the ITGBL1 DNA sequences, and recombinant cells transformed with the recombinant vector.
