Abstract
A discontinuous reception method in a wireless communication system, including: determining to employ a consecutive carrier aggregation or a non-consecutive carrier aggregation; in case of the consecutive carrier aggregation, for a primary cell and each of the secondary cells, setting a common on-duration timer and/or a common discontinuous reception inactivity timer; and in case of the non-consecutive carrier aggregation, for a primary cell and each of the secondary cells, setting separate on-duration timers and/or separate discontinuous reception inactivity timers.
Claims20
An electronic device, comprising
- circuitry configured to:
- access to a wireless network via multiple serving cells, the multiple serving cells comprise a first cell and a second cell;
- receive a configuration signaling from the wireless network including respective configurations on periodic Channel Quality Indicator(CQI) report of the first cell and second cell when Discontinuous Reception(DRX) is configured to the electronic device;
- and
- transmit periodic CQI reports of the first cell and second cell based on the respective configurations.
An electronic device, comprising
- circuitry configured to:
- serve a user equipment via multiple serving cells, the multiple serving cells comprise a first cell and a second cell;
- transmit a configuration signaling to the user equipment including respective configurations on periodic Channel Quality Indicator(CQI) report of the first cell and second cell when Discontinuous Reception(DRX) is configured to the user equipment;
- and
- receive periodic CQI reports of the first cell and second cell based on the respective configurations.
A wireless communication method for a user equipment, comprising
- accessing to a wireless network via multiple serving cells, the multiple serving cells comprise a first cell and a second cell;
- receiving a configuration signaling from the wireless network including respective configurations on periodic Channel Quality Indicator(CQI) report of the first cell and second cell when Discontinuous Reception(DRX) is configured to the electronic device;
- and transmitting periodic CQI reports of the first cell and second cell based on the respective configurations.
A wireless communication method for a base station, comprising
- serving a user equipment via multiple serving cells, the multiple serving cells comprise a first cell and a second cell;
- transmitting a configuration signaling to the user equipment including respective configurations on periodic Channel Quality Indicator(CQI) report of the first cell and second cell when Discontinuous Reception(DRX) is configured to the user equipment;
- and
- receiving periodic CQI reports of the first cell and second cell based on the respective configurations.
