Mobile terminal apparatus for automatically generating/changing wireless local area network (wlan) access information and method for controlling the same

An electronic device comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the stored instructions to at least:
• control to receive a first signal from a first wireless local area network (WLAN) access point (AP), wherein the first signal includes first identification information of the first WLAN AP, first security information of the first WLAN AP, and first load information of the first WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received first signal, control to obtain the first identification information of the first WLAN AP and the first security information of the first WLAN AP;
• control to determine that the electronic device is in a successful connection with the first WLAN AP;
• based at least on the determining that the electronic device is in a successful connection with the first WLAN AP, control to automatically add first WLAN information for automatically connecting to the first WLAN AP to a set of WLAN information for automatically connecting to WLAN APs stored in the electronic device, wherein the first WLAN information for automatically connecting to the first WLAN AP is generated by the electronic device based at least on the obtained first identification information;
• control to receive a second signal from a second WLAN AP, wherein the second signal includes second identification information of the second WLAN AP, second security information of the second WLAN AP, and second load information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received second signal, control to obtain the second identification information of the second WLAN AP and the second security information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on the obtained second identification information of the second WLAN AP and the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information, control to identify second WLAN information included in the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information;
• based at least on the identified second WLAN information included in the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information, control to automatically connect to the second WLAN AP;
• control to receive a third signal from the second WLAN AP after automatically connecting to the second WLAN AP, wherein the third signal includes the second identification information of the second WLAN AP, the second security information of the second WLAN AP, and third load information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received third signal, control to obtain the third load information of the second WLAN AP;
• and
• based at least on determining that the obtained third load information of the second WLAN AP exceeds a predetermined threshold, control to search for another WLAN AP to be connected instead of the second WLAN AP.

A non-transitory computer readable recording medium storing instructions executable by a processor of an electronic device to cause the processor to at least:

• control to receive a first signal from a first wireless local area network (WLAN) access point (AP), wherein the first signal includes first identification information of the first WLAN AP, first security information of the first WLAN AP, and first load information of the first WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received first signal, control to obtain the first identification information of the first WLAN AP and the first security information of the first WLAN AP;
• control to determine that the electronic device is in a successful connection with the first WLAN AP;
• based at least on the determining that the electronic device is in a successful connection with the first WLAN AP, control to automatically add first WLAN information for automatically connecting to the first WLAN AP to a set of WLAN information for automatically connecting to WLAN APs stored in the electronic device, wherein the first WLAN information for automatically connecting to the first WLAN AP is generated by the electronic device based at least on the obtained first identification information;
• control to receive a second signal from a second WLAN AP, wherein the second signal includes second identification information of the second WLAN AP, second security information of the second WLAN AP, and second load information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received second signal, control to obtain the second identification information of the second WLAN AP and the second security information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on the obtained second identification information of the second WLAN AP and the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information, control to identify second WLAN information included in the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information;
• based at least on the identified second WLAN information included in the set of WLAN information including the first WLAN information, control to automatically connect to the second WLAN AP;
• control to receive a third signal from the second WLAN AP after automatically connecting to the second WLAN AP, wherein the third signal includes the second identification information of the second WLAN AP, the second security information of the second WLAN AP, and third load information of the second WLAN AP;
• based at least on analyzing the received third signal, control to obtain the third load information of the second WLAN AP;
• and
• based at least on determining that the obtained third load information of the second WLAN AP exceeds a predetermined threshold, control to search for another WLAN AP to be connected instead of the second WLAN AP.
