Abstract
A user equipment that communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system includes: a receiving unit that receives a change message of system information from the base station; and a control unit that requests the base station to transmit the system information when the receiving unit has received the change message and then has not received the system information.

A user equipment comprising:
- a receiving unit that receives system information from a base station;
- and
- a control unit that, predetermined hours after acquisition of the system information, requests the base station to transmit system information.

- a receiving unit that receives, from a base station, identification information of an area in which system information is common to cells;
- and
- a control unit that requests system information to the base station when the identification information is different from stored identification information.
A user equipment comprising:
- a receiving unit that receives system information which is periodically transmitted from a base station;
- and
- a control unit that requests predetermined system information to the base station and acquires the predetermined system information from the base station when detecting information indicating that the base station does not broadcast the predetermined system information from system information received by the receiving unit.

- receiving system information from a base station;

- predetermined hours after acquisition of the system information, requesting the base station to transmit system information.
A system information acquisition method performed by a user equipment comprising:
- receiving, from a base station, identification information of an area in which system information is common to cells;
- and
- requesting system information to the base station when the identification information is different from stored identification information.
A system information acquisition method performed by a user equipment comprising:
- receiving system information which is periodically transmitted from a base station;
- and
- requesting predetermined system information to the base station and acquires the predetermined system information from the base station when detecting information indicating that the base station does not broadcast the predetermined system information from system information received by the receiving.
