Abstract
Provided are a method for a user equipment (UE) to perform access barring check in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: receiving a list of barring information, wherein each of the barring information includes a barring factor and a barring time; receiving information on an access category related to barring information included in the list; performing the access barring check for the access category, based on the barring information related to the access category; and performing uplink transmission, if an access attempt is allowed for the access category.
Claims20
A method of performing, by a user equipment (UE), an access barring check in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a first list that relates a plurality of access categories with a plurality of indices;
- receiving a second list comprising a plurality of barring information related to that are indexed by the plurality of indices, wherein each barring information comprises a barring factor and a barring time;
- selecting, among the plurality of indices from the first list, a first index that is related to a first access category;
- selecting, among the plurality of barring information from the second list, first barring information that is related to the first index related to the first access category;
- performing the access barring check for the first access category, based on the first barring information that is related to the first index related to the first access category;
- and
- performing uplink transmission based on performing the access barring check.
A user equipment (UE) configured to perform an access barring check in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, through the transceiver, a first list that relates a plurality of access categories with a plurality of indices;
- receiving, through the transceiver, a second list comprising a plurality of barring information that are indexed by the plurality of indices, wherein each barring information comprises a barring factor and a barring time;
- selecting, among the plurality of indices from the first list, a first index that is related to a first access category;
- selecting, among the plurality of barring information from the second list, first barring information that is related to the first index related to the first access category;
- performing the access barring check for the first access category, based on the first barring information that is related to the first index related to the first access category;
- and
- performing uplink transmission, through the transceiver, based on performing the access barring check.
