Method for using radio interface technology, apparatus, and communications system

An apparatus in a wireless network, comprising:

• a transceiver, a processor, and a non-transitory storage medium storing programming instructions for execution by the processor;
• wherein the programming instructions, when executed, cause the apparatus to:
• receive from a base station, information of a correspondence between a data radio bearer (DRB) and a radio interface technology, wherein the radio interface technology is supported in a frequency range of a cell, the frequency range is one of N frequency ranges, wherein N≥2, and wherein characteristic information of the radio interface technology comprises a subcarrier spacing;
• and
• transmit to the base station, the service on the DRB within the frequency range using the sub carrier spacing of the radio interface technology.
