Abstract
A method for decoding a video according to the present invention may comprise: obtaining a weighted prediction parameter of a current block, determined, based on the weighted prediction parameter, weights applying to a first prediction block generated based on a first reference picture and a second prediction block generated based on a second reference picture, and obtaining, based on a weighted sum of the first prediction block and the second prediction block, a final prediction block of the current block.
Claims15
A method for decoding a video, the method comprising:
- obtaining a weighted prediction parameter of a current block;
- determining, based on the weighted prediction parameter, weights applying to a first prediction block generated based on a first reference picture and a second prediction block generated based on a second reference picture;
- and
- obtaining, based on a weighted sum of the first prediction block and the second prediction block, a final prediction block of the current block.
A method for encoding a video, the method comprising:
- determining, based on a weighted prediction parameter of a current block, weights applying to a first prediction block generated based on a first reference picture and a second prediction block generated based on a second reference picture;
- and
- generating, based on a weighted sum of the first prediction block and the second prediction block, a final prediction block of the current block.
An apparatus for decoding a video, the apparatus comprising:
- a decoding unit to obtain a weighted prediction parameter of a current block;
- and
- a prediction unit to determine weights applying to a first prediction block generated based on a first reference picture and a second prediction block generated based on a second reference picture based on the weighted prediction parameter, to generate a final prediction block of the current block based on a weighted sum of the first prediction block and the second prediction block.
