Abstract
A terminal having a camera and a method of processing an image in the camera are disclosed. The method includes collecting, using a camera, a user image captured at a user focal length and a link image captured at a selective focal length, and storing the user image and the link image by linking the link image with the user image. Using this method, a user can capture a subject and circumstances around the subject when the image is captured.
Claims17
A mobile device, comprising:
- a camera;
- an input device;
- a display;
- a storage device;
- and
- a processor connected to the camera, the input device, the display, and the storage device, wherein the processor is configured to:
- based on a selection of a first focal length being received from the input device while displaying an image acquired using the camera on the display, set a focal length the camera to the first focal length,
- based on an input for capturing an image received from the input device and the first focal length being longer than a preset second focal length, acquire a first image using the camera while the focal length of the camera is set to the first focal length, and acquire a second image using the camera while the focal length of the camera is set to a third focal length shorter than the first focal length, and
- store the first image and the second image in the storage device.

A method of operating a mobile device including a camera, comprising:
- based on a selection of a first focal length being received from an input device while displaying an image acquired using the camera on a display, setting a focal length the camera to the first focal length;
- based on an input for capturing an image received from the input device and the first focal length being longer than a preset second focal length, acquiring a first image using the camera while the focal length of the camera is set to the first focal length, and acquiring a second image using the camera while the focal length of the camera is set to a third focal length shorter than the first focal length;
- and
- storing the first image and the second image in the storage device
