Abstract
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can receive a user query comprising one or more search terms. One or more synonyms are identified for the user query based on a dynamic thesaurus generated using automated synonym extraction. An expanded query is generated based on the user query and the one or more synonyms. One or more search results are identified based on the expanded query.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving, by a computing system, a user query comprising one or more search terms;
- identifying, by the computing system, one or more synonyms for the user query based on a dynamic thesaurus generated using automated synonym extraction;
- generating, by the computing system, an expanded query based on the user query and the one or more synonyms;
- and
- identifying, by the computing system, one or more search results based on the expanded query.
A system comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform a method comprising:
- receiving a user query comprising one or more search terms;
- identifying one or more synonyms for the user query based on a dynamic thesaurus generated using automated synonym extraction;
- generating an expanded query based on the user query and the one or more synonyms;
- and
- identifying one or more search results based on the expanded query.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising:
- receiving a user query comprising one or more search terms;
- identifying one or more synonyms for the user query based on a dynamic thesaurus generated using automated synonym extraction;
- generating an expanded query based on the user query and the one or more synonyms;
- and
- identifying one or more search results based on the expanded query.
