Abstract

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a first memory for storing file data; a second memory having an attribute different from an attribute of the first memory; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to store, in the second memory, journal data associated with a change in at least a part of the file data, and update the at least a part of the file data stored in the first memory at least on the basis of the journal data when a designated condition is satisfied. Other various embodiments are possible.

Dependent claims

An electronic device, comprising:

a first memory storing file data;
a second memory having an attribute different from that of the first memory;
and
a processor,
wherein the processor is configured to perform:
storing journal data related to a change in at least a part of the file data in the second memory, wherein the storing comprises buffering at least a part of the journal data in a first area of the second memory, and journaling at least a part of the journal data in a second area of the second memory;
and
if a designated condition is satisfied, updating at least the part of the file data stored in the first memory based at least on the journal data.
