Generating content objects using an integrated development environment

A method comprising:

• causing display of an integrated development environment in a user interface of a user device;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a first request to generate or update a first educational content object;
• causing display of a first presentation of the first educational content object, the first presentation comprising a plurality of metadata selection options associated with the first educational content object;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a selection of a first one of the metadata selection options;
• responsive to processing the selection of the first metadata selection option, causing updating of the first presentation on the user interface of the user device;
• causing display of a second presentation of the first educational content object, the second presentation comprising a rich text editor configurable to receive data associated with the first educational content object;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a second request to add data to the first educational content object via the rich text editor;
• and
• responsive to processing the second request to add data to the first educational content object, causing updating of the second presentation on the user interface of the user device.

A computer program product comprising computer-readable program code to be executed by one or more processors when retrieved from a non-transitory computer-readable medium, the program code including instructions configurable to cause:

• displaying an integrated development environment in a user interface of a user device;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a first request to generate or update a first educational content object;
• providing a first presentation of the first educational content object, the first presentation comprising a plurality of metadata selection options associated with the first educational content object;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a selection of a first one of the metadata selection options;
• responsive to processing the selection of the first metadata selection option, updating the first presentation on the user interface of the user device;
• providing a second presentation of the first educational content object, the second presentation comprising a rich text editor configurable to receive data associated with the first educational content object;
• processing, using the integrated development environment, a second request to add data to the first educational content object via the rich text editor;
• and
• responsive to processing the second request to add data to the first educational content object, updating the second presentation on the user interface of the user device.
