Abstract
A door structure configured so that a sensor within an outer handle can be protected against water. A door structure for a vehicle is provided with: a first cover member constituting the outer surface of an outer handle; a sensor for detecting the approach of a user to the first cover member or the contact of the user with t he first cover member; a marker provided on the outer surface of the first cover member at a location overlapping a region to be detected by the sensor; and a shield section provided between the sensor and the marker.

A door structure of a vehicle body including an outer handle, comprising:
- a cover member that forms an outer surface of the outer handle;
- a sensor that detects approach of a user to the cover member or contact of the user with the cover member;
- a marker that is provided on a portion of an outer surface of the cover member coinciding with a detection area of the sensor;
- and
- a shield that is provided between the sensor and the marker.
