Abstract
Systems and methods for dispensing compositions, such as beverages, are provided. A beverage dispenser may be configured to receive input corresponding to a selection of a beverage, and in response, a graphical representation of the beverage at a display device. The beverage dispenser may receive additional input corresponding to an adjustment of an amount of an ingredient of the selected beverage, and in response, the graphical representation of the beverage may be updated. The graphical representation of the beverage may include graphics depicting the beverage container, the volume of liquid in the beverage container, and the adjusted ingredient.
Claims20
A method for adjusting a fluid carbonation level, the method comprising:
- providing a beverage dispenser including a non-carbonated water source and a first carbonated water source;
- and
- blending an amount of water from the non-carbonated water source and an amount of water from the first carbonated water source to form a beverage fluid having a carbonation level,
- wherein the carbonation level can range between no carbonation and full carbonation, such that full carbonation is a maximum amount available from the first carbonated water source water.
The method of claim 2, wherein the blending comprises adjusting an opening of a first orifice that controls a flow rate of water from the non-carbonated water source and adjusting an opening of a second orifice that controls a flow rate of water from the first carbonated water source.
A method for adjusting the carbonization level of water dispensed by a beverage dispenser, the method comprising:
- blending at the beverage dispenser an amount of water from a non-carbonated water source and an amount of carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide source to form a beverage fluid with a desired carbonation level,
- wherein the carbonation level can range between no carbonation and full carbonation, such that full carbonation is a maximum amount available from the carbon dioxide source.
A method of dispensing a customized beverage from a beverage dispenser, the method comprising:
- receiving a first measured physiological parameter at the beverage dispenser from a biosensor;
- receiving an electronic beverage recipe selection;
- modifying a beverage recipe based on the first measured physiological parameter;
- and
- dispensing the beverage according to the modified beverage recipe.
