Nestable dual-configuration storage and display container

A container assembly, comprising:

• (a) a first sidewall assembly including:
• (i) a first sidewall comprising a quadrilateral first planar portion with four sides, and a generally planar first stiffening edge segment with a length, the first stiffening edge segment joined along its length to one of the sides of the first planar portion at a fixed angle orientation relative to the plane of the first planar portion to stiffen the first sidewall;
• (ii) a second sidewall comprising a quadrilateral second planar portion with four sides, and a generally planar second stiffening edge segment with a length, the second stiffening edge segment being joined along its length to one of the sides of the second planar portion at a fixed angle orientation relative to the plane of the second planar portion to stiffen the second sidewall;
• and
• (iii) a first hinge joining the first sidewall to the second sidewall;
• (b) a second sidewall assembly including:
• (i) a third sidewall comprising a quadrilateral third planar portion with four sides, and a generally planar third stiffening edge segment with a length, the third stiffening edge segment being joined along its length to one of the sides of the third planar portion at a fixed angle orientation relative to the plane of the third planar portion to stiffen the third planar portion of the third sidewall;
• (ii) a fourth sidewall comprising a quadrilateral fourth planar portion with four sides, and a fourth generally planar stiffening edge segment with a length, the fourth stiffening edge segment being joined along its length to one of the sides of the fourth planar portion at a fixed angle orientation relative to the plane of the fourth planar portion to stiffen the fourth planar portion of the fourth sidewall;
• and
• (iii) a second hinge joining the third sidewall to the fourth sidewall;
• and
• (c) the first and second sidewall assemblies being configured and inter-positioned with folds provided along the first and second hinges so that a first select one of the first and second edge segments and a second select one of the third and fourth edge segments overlap each other and are fastened to each other to form a reinforced edge, and the first and second sidewall assemblies form a container defining a generally enclosed space.

A container assembly comprising:

• a number of sidewall assemblies;
• each sidewall assembly including a number of associated sidewalls coupled by a number of hinges;
• each sidewall including a generally planar perimeter and a number of edge segments;
• and
• said sidewalls disposed in an enclosing configuration, wherein said sidewalls are configured and dimensioned to fold along the hinges, and a number of said edge segments are configured and dimensioned to overlap each other, and
• wherein said sidewalls define a generally enclosed space.
