An apparatus and a method for determining a measurement error of a displacement volumetric meter, a meter monitoring device, and a meter measurement error determining device

A method of determining a measurement error of a displacement volumetric meter, the meter having bellows which in use expand and contract to transmit a fluid, the method comprising:

• a. detecting movement of the bellows of the meter;
• b. determining a flow rate of fluid through the meter based on the movement of the bellows;
• and
• c. determining a measurement error of the meter based on the determined flow rate.

A meter measurement error determining device for a displacement volumetric meter, the meter having bellows which in use expand and contract to transmit a fluid, the device comprising:

• at least one processor and at least one memory storing computer executable code which when executed by the at least one processor causes the device to:
• receive a signal which varies in accordance with movement of the bellows of the meter;
• determine a flow rate of fluid through the meter based on the received signal;
• and
• determine a measurement error of the meter based on the determined flow rate.
