Abstract
A method and an apparatus for logging and reporting MBMS-related measurement information by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, configuration information for configuring the terminal to receive an MBMS; and logging, if the terminal receives the MBMS, information of the MBMS based on the received configuration information.

A method by a terminal in a communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a base station, system information including information for an area for a network;
- receiving, from the base station, measurement configuration information including target network area information;
- in case that receiving a service corresponding to the target network area information, performing a measurement based on the target network area information during both an idle mode and a connected mode,
- logging a measurement result based on the measurement;
- and
- transmitting, to the base station, the measurement result including a reference signal received power associated with the target network area information in case that the terminal has an available logged measurement result related to the measurement configuration information,
- wherein the reference signal received power is identified based on a reference signal for the service.
