Resources for channel measurements

A method for wireless communication, comprising:

• receiving a signal from a base station indicating resources for a beamformed signal within a plurality of beamformed signals;
• performing a channel measurement of the beamformed signal using the indicated resources;
• and
• transmitting, to the base station, a measurement report comprising the channel measurement associated with the beamformed signal.

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• a processor;
• memory in electronic communication with the processor;
• and
• instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to:
• identify resources associated with a beamformed signal, the identified resources being used by a user equipment (UE) for channel measurements of the beamformed signal, the beamformed signal being one of a plurality of beamformed signals;
• generate a signal indicating at least a portion of the identified resources;
• and
• transmit the signal to the UE.

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• a processor;
• memory in electronic communication with the processor;
• and
• instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to:
• receive a signal from a base station indicating resources for a beamformed signal within a plurality of beamformed signals;
• perform a channel measurement of the beamformed signal using the indicated resources;
• and
• transmit, to the base station, a measurement report comprising the channel measurement associated with the beamformed signal.
