Abstract
An electronic device includes a housing having a first panel connected to a second panel movable between folded and unfolded configurations. A first antenna is located adjacent to the first panel and a second antenna is located adjacent to the second panel. The second antenna is activated when the housing is in an unfolded configuration and is deactivated when the housing is in a folded configuration.
Claims32
An electronic device comprising:
- a housing comprising a first panel coupled to a second panel;
- a first antenna positioned adjacent to the first panel;
- and
- a second antenna positioned adjacent to the second panel, wherein the second antenna is activated when the housing is in an unfolded configuration, and the second antenna is deactivated when the housing is in a folded configuration.

An electronic device comprising:
- a housing comprising a first panel coupled to a second panel, the first panel comprising a first antenna region, the second panel comprising a second antenna region, wherein the first panel and second panel face away from each other when the housing is in a folded configuration;
- a first antenna positioned in the first antenna region;
- and
- a second antenna positioned in the second antenna region, wherein the first antenna is electrically isolated from the second antenna, and wherein the second antenna is activated when the housing is in an unfolded configuration and deactivated when the housing is in the folded configuration.
